I really don't have much to add that hasn't already been said. This is an excellent bike to get started on. I traded my first Savage for a Honda 1100. Then turned around and bought another Savage. I use it for short commutes and the Honda for longer hauls and two up riding. If you plan on much two up riding, do your passenger a favor and opt for a bigger scoot. Good luck in your choice and welcome to the fold. They say you meet the nicest people on a Honda but Savage riders aren't bad either
